Sharal died on April 15, 2020. She was a daughter, partner, mother, pet parent, friend, entrepreneur, philanthropist, business owner, music supervisor, neighbor, animal lover, board member, and more. Sharal was our North Star, having contributed mightily to our first drill in 2014, she then brought us the Map Your Neighborhood program, believing it was the right program to prepare our neighborhood. She hosted our first pilot meeting in 2015. Today we have organized more than 23 blocks based on her initial insight.
Sharal will be remembered for being kind, smart, strong, generous and absolutely delightful!
