CERT Classes Starting Summer 2015

The Community Emergency Response Team Program’s concept was developed and implemented by the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) in 1985.  The CERT course will benefit any citizen who takes it.  This individual will be better prepared to respond to and cope with the aftermath of a disaster.

6/27 LAFD Valley Refresher – One Day – Saturday 7:30 am – 5 pm

7/7 – Hollywood/Wilshire – Evenings – 7 Tuesdays 6:30 -9 pm

7/8 – Downtown LA – Daytime – 7 Wednesdays  1 – 3:30 pm

7/9 – Civic Center – Daytime – 7 Thursdays 9 – 11:30 am

7/10 – East LA – Daytime – 7 Fridays 9 – 11:30 am

7/21 – Downtown LA – Daytime – 7 Tuesdays 9 – 11:30  am

Jessica Triangle Work Party – Sunday 5/3

Come join the Jessica Triangle Work Party – 10am – noon Sunday 5/3. Bring hand tools and clippers if you have them – we’ll have rakes and hoses. Neighbors have kindly contributed water and trash bins.

If you can’t participate, please consider a cash donation. 30 minutes or $7.50 helps us keep the Triangle beautiful. Donations can be made in person at the Triangle or right here  (click donate – mention Jessica Triangle under “special instructions”).
